Good Morning All-
I want to tell each and everyone of you thank you very much. Your kind
thoughts and words as well as your prayers are helping us to deal with
our grief. We are mourning Savannah's death deeply but we are also
celebrating her life with us. She was a very special little girl that
brought many smiles to her mommy and daddy.
Nanci - Savannah gave back to Soleah what Soleah gave to us. The gift
of love from Soleah was more than we could have ever imagined and
Savannah was able to give that back to Soleah after she was already gone
from this earth.
Hope - I am so happy that Savannah and Laura are finally playing
together. Thank you for your kind words and support they mean a lot to
us.
Her services will probably be on Friday or Saturday. We are waiting for
our Pastor to get back in town. We have decided that since we are going
to be conintuing to live in Corpus Christi, we will bury her here.
Holly - We did receive her gift from you and thank you very much, it
came on Friday as we were at the hospital. She would have looked
beautiful in that outfit and it means so very much to us, Thank you. We
will save it and hopefully one day our next little girl will be able to
weat it in Savannah's honor!
Penny - We did get the huggies and they would have worked except they
were a little big and the pictures of the boys are just adorable, Thank
you!
Karen - We got our package from you yesterday. The Koala will be in the
viewing room so Savannah will have a chance to have it one time at least.
Thank you for the gifts they are wonderful. Actually we are going to be
able to use the wipes, Andreas said that he will be able to use them with
his work.
Lee and Kerry - Thank you very much for passing on our letter to the
wings list, that means a lot as that is more prayers and thoughts for us.
I continue carrying around the last outfit that Savannah wore, it smells
like her. The tears are getting less and less, but I don't think they
will ever go away. I wrote a letter to my baby in her book yesterday
morning and it was very hard but it thanked her for the wonderful 6
months she gave us. I really wish she did not have to go so soon, but
she left 6 months and 3 days to the minute. Her work here on Earth was
done and she went home and is at peace and is having fun playing with all
the angels, Laura, Jacob, Connor and all the rest. My baby no longer
needs her Oxygen, she does not have to be poked and proded, no more
needles, no more monitors. I am so happy and envious of her, she is
perfect and we could not have asked for a better baby. Savannah taught
us both so much, we would never known such unconditional love without
her. She also taught us to treat each day as a gift and never as a
burden. Savannah Kristyne, Mommy and Daddy love you so much and miss you
dearly, thank you!
At her graveside service we will be releasing balloons for her and all
her angel friends to play with. I think they will all enjoy this.
