Subject: [tri-med] Cold Feet
Jackson has cold feet all the time. Sometimes his legs look splotchy and
mottled. His PT said this could be a cardiac issue? All the Drs. who have
listened to his heart haven't "heard" anything. He's never had any other tests
done. Anyone else have any experience with this?
Wendi,
Morgan is like this quite often. Sometimes his feet or hands turn purple,
other times they are mottled. If I remember correctly the ped. told me this is
a circulatory problem, not cardiac (Morgan has no cardiac issues). Morgan has
tiny blood vessels, so, in turn, he has poor circulation. Sometimes his feet
or arms will be just the opposite and be bright red and hot, also caused by the
circulation issues. Our ped. told us it is not a concern for now, but he is
aware of it. I'm sure Karen or someone else can elaborate on this.
