We did know about our Rebecca 5 months to the day of her birth, but we de= cided that parents who decide to terminate were very brave because we jus= t couldn't do it. Like you say, if she was going to fight, so was I!! LOL Kathy s (mom to Rebecca ^i^ 19-5-03, and four others....) >>>>>>>>>.. I also think that they think parents shouldn't have to go through caring for a handicapped or terminal child if they have an "easy out" in the beginning. I don't know about anyone else, but if Elanor was fighting, I was going to do anything to fight for her!<<<<<<<<<<<< We did not know of Rebecca's trisomy prior to her birth, and thankfully we have not had to make any life saving decisions for her. But I do agree that parents need to be in touch with other parents. Rebecca was born long before the "net" and we were lucky to have been linked via SOFT Canada ( when there was a SOFT Canada) =20 Susan mom to Rebecca =20 Building ___ooOOoo__ Rainbows =20 www.trisomyonline.org =20 Families Helping Families On-line =93This e-mail is sent on the Terms and Conditions that can be accessed b= y Clicking on this link http://www.vodacom.net/legal/email.asp " Building ___ooOOoo__ Rainbows www.trisomyonline.org Families Helping Families On-line
