[tri-med] Re: Can you help?

Michelle, it's really neat when people recognize the girls'
names! It saves time explaining! After the movies it was a little
easier for Arwen, but almost nobody can place Elanor. Elanor is also a
flower they found where the elves live, it had healing properties in the
stories, and it was somewhat magical, so it's pretty fitting for her!
My husband has read all of LOTH books almost every year since he was 12,
so I understand your sigh! He wanted Molly to know that Tolkien is a
noble pursuit and she could be doing a lot worse things with her time!

Hi and welcome Jennifer! Glad to see you've jumped right into our pool.
:-)

After reading your tag line I had to ask my 12 yr old daughter who's
read
Lord of the Rings (LOTH) 10+ times (all the books except the Hobbit) and
any
other related LOTH info book if Elanor was a name from the book (I knew
Arwen was). She said Elanor is Sam's eldest daughter (if I remember
correctly what she told me).

She is thrilled to death with the idea of you naming your daughters
from
LOTH characters. :0) Molly can even recite LOTH character lineages
from
memory. sigh.
