When Hannah had her test for CAPD last year she went into a sound booth by
herself, they don't let parents in because the could influence the test
results, by giving non-verbal clues, that even they are not aware of. It is
similar to a regular hearing test, except they have them repeat word pairs
that are directed to first one ear than the other, and then to both ears at
once, and grade in on the number of correct responses.
Hannah's score was low enough that she was diagnosed as CAPD. Thought this
might help.
