[tri-med] Re: Bumbo Seat

hi. when my daughter was about 6 months old her PT made a seat for her out of
a huge piece of foam. the part she sat in was very similar to a bumbo seat.
kaiya didn't get to sit in an actual bumbo seat until she was a couple of years
old b/c i didn't know they existed. by then she was a little too long, but she
still enjoyed it - especially once she realized that if she pushed with her
feet she could tip it over...she likes to tip over. a lot ;) i have actually
bought bumbo seats for a lot of baby showers b/c i think they are neat little
things!

Subject: [tri-med] Bumbo Seat

I was looking at purchasing a bumbo seat for Alegria. I don't think she is
quite ready for it as her head control is still a bit wobbly, but I was
curious if any one else has used one of these with their children. What age
did you start using one? Was it useful/helpful?
Thanks,
Jill, mom to Alegria born 2/9/09
