Bumbo Chairs weren't necessarily recalled, but there is a tipping hazard.
If you got one before the "recall" you could get a sticker to put on it to
warn about tipping and to remind you not to leave children unattended.
Elanor has tipped over a couple of times in hers, but she thought it was
funny! I can see how kids could really get hurt though, because if they
need the Bumbo for support, the child probably doesn't have the muscle tone
or ability to right him/herself if he/she starts tipping over. Also, it is
tempting to use it for a highchair alternative, but it could be dangerous
unless you are standing right next to it 100% of the time. Otherwise, they
are great! We put pillows all around in case Elanor took a nose dive, and
she loved sitting so upright! She is too big for it now, but when she was
smaller we used it all the time.

I was just thinking, weren't the bumbo seats recalled? Or have they fixed
the "problem" and put them back up for sale?
