[tri-med] Re: Breast buds . . . Menstruation

We took Hannah off all the meds she was on except the scopolomine patch. =
We
thought they (the combination) were causing more problems than they were
fixing. We were right. And we did confess to the doctors. Eventually. :) =
But
they agreed that she was doing better without the stuff than with it.

I sure hope the doc can figure out what is out of whack.=20

Soleah who is 13 1/2 is just now getting breast beds and a little bit of
pubic hair BUT when she was nine she was on some meds that made the same
thing happen prematurely--when we weaned her off of those (for other
reasons) they disappeared. It was prozac & respiradol but I'm sure =
other
meds could do the same thing.

With any older girls on the list . . . when have they started periods =
and
if still in diapers, how do you handle that??? Many people have =
suggested
"the shot" (birth control?) . . . I'm not sure how I feel about pumping
hormones into her--health-wise and moods . . .=20

  Jude,

What Hannah has feels like firm but soft globuals behind her nipples. A
definite bump when you move your hand across her chest.=3D20

Kelly,

Yes, I have a 4 year old with pubic hair. So far no underarm hair =3D =
though.

Will let you know what the doc says. I have a feeling we're in for the =
=3D
round of hormone testing that we thought we avoided. There is one level =
that
=3D was off. I think it's just blood though.
