Mohammed,
Hannah gets Botox for a few things. We have never had a bad experience with
it and, although we were told not to be surprised if we didn't see a change
for up to two weeks, it always seems to kick in within about 24-48 hours.
She gets it in her jaws (for biting) about every 3-4 months. She also gets
it in the back of her neck and her shoulders for arching. That are seems to
hold it longer and she doesn't have that but maybe every 6-8 months,
sometimes longer. She just got it on Friday and had her jaw and back of
neck. We weren't going to do the neck originally on this appointment but she
started arching again about 2-3 weeks before the appointment.
Her doc is going to be doing the Botox for drooling too. They have the
ultrasound equipment but haven't lined up a trained technician for it yet.
Hannah is on the list for that too.
