Karen,

Can be answered for Miss P, though of course she's not T18. YES she has
funky blood vessels at least in her neck & head.  But that's all that
they MRA'd, so who knows how extensive the funkiness actually is. Stenosis
of the carotid arteries, and totally missing the one that should transport
the blood through the center of her brain (with her own funky Moya Moya
capillary configuration to compensate).  She throws blood clots occasionally
after a surgery (been known to be months after) and has suffered from at
least 4 transient ischemic attacks.
