Supposedly, after the surgery there can be a lot of blood loss too. =( They are cutting her from her neck to below the bra-strap. and taking bone from her hip. Oh my gosh. I still cannot believe I am putting her through this. She is finally feeling better after the Pharyngeal flap surgery in Jan. Doing Special Olympics...actually smiling again. Dr says no sports for a year after this. Good Lord, I pray I am making the right decision. Thanks for writing Susan! I've missed you.
