I need the hug today though, as we are having trouble with our 18 yr old.
Just the teenage disrespect stuff, doesn't want to do what we say, left to
go stay with a friend (for now??).

For some reason the 'magic' age of 18....and being a legal adult in the
USA....brings out some new and interesting behaviors and attitudes in many
kids.

It can be a fine line between 'it's our house/we pay all your bills and you
will......' and letting them spread their wings somewhat.
Trying to find that line can be a challenge on all parties.

Molly reared up for a good month after her 18th but seems to have simmered
it back down now.

Hope things calm back down with Joshua soon!
Nothing can hit you in the heart quite like your kids.
