This has worried me somewhat as the pediatrician couldn't hear her murmer the
last couple visits, but whenever she sees the cardiologist after these
visits...everything was unchanged. Therefore, I believe the murmer's not as
loud as it used to be which can mean the hole has closed or the pressure is
starting to equilized. Since the VSD at 7mm is too big to close on it's
own...it would be bad if it does because of the double outlet right ventricle,
it'd only mean the pressure is equilizing...another bad thing!

balk at changing doctors. I can't remember what state you are in, but I know
that between list folk and Dr Carey that we could find a doctor that would
give you an honest and unbiased explanation of the situation.
I agreed. Up to this point, he's the best doctor we've dealt with and we like
to stay with him, but we will not hesitate to change if our views on caring for
Rachel no longer coincide...but it is difficult to find a good doctor though.
We are in New York...about 60 miles north of the city.

I used to be one of those until 5 yrs ago when my father passed away on the
operation table from cardiac failure when he went in for prostate surgery.

That will be great, Karen. Thank you!
