How exciting to hear about all your new "gadgets"! They have certainly
helped us a ton with Keren. It's SO exciting to hear how Caroline is
already using and enjoying her stander. We've had one on loan from
Keren's school and use it at least once a day (her therapist and
orthopedic doctor and others "in the know" have said, "Use it as much
as possible!"). It's especially good for kids who DO bear weight
because it helps strengthen what is there and set things in the right
positions (i.e. hips, ankles, etc.). I'm sure Keren's progress in this
area is partly due to her stander.

It's also great for things like what Caroline is using it for: playing
with toys, or watching TV, or interacting with us. She can look up and
see!

I don't think there's anything I dislike about the stander we have at
the moment, though I think Keren is outgrowing it. Fortunately, since
it's just a loaner we can return it, and I believe she'll be able to
get another loaner from her new school. That's something I'm going to
ask about as soon as she starts.

Once again, it's great to hear how these things are falling into place!
