I used them on Bec all the time, I would put them over the veins on the
back of both hands as well as the insides of the of the elbow ( where they
usually try and take blood) do both arms, and try and get them over the
veins. That way they have room to look for other veins. The down side is
that the emla patches cause vasoconstriction which can make the veins harder
to find.
