sometimes debbie i think you are reading my mind! i don't have any
suggestions...but i have been trying to figure out a better system for akaiya's
sleeping/bathing. akaiya is 40 inches long and her crib is a tight fit! thank
goodness she loves to be in very enclosed spaces when she sleeps! but arms and
legs are all over the place more and more and she has gotten "stuck" quite a
few times so a new bed is on the priority list! as for bathing, i just lay her
down in the tub, but it would be sooooo much easier on my knees and back to
have some kind of gigantic wash basin positioned up high...ahhhh dreams for
when i win the lottery!

I'd like to know what the bathrooms for the special needs children look like
- especially for the older/taller children.
Claire is slowly outgrowing the tub insert we have for the kitchen sink, so
we need to start planning some sort of remodel, or better yet, an idea for a
simple insert for the tub for bathing.
DH is very tall, so bending over the tub while she is laying down won't work
well - actually for any of us, so our backs are the biggest concern, not as
much with lifit as with lather and rinsing.
I don't want a total remodel (can't afford that) and was hoping for simple,
common sense, inexpensive ideas that can help us out.
Other questions I have are regarding her play pen (bed for travel) and
reconstructing the daybed for her room when she gets too tall for the crib.
Thanks in advance,
Debbie, mom to Claire(T18 and getting longer)
