Hi Sarah,
From what I understand Phenobarb is one of those drugs that you either love or 
you hate.
Alex and I hate it :-))
Alex was on it for a couple of months until I begged his pediatrician to try 
something else, anything else. Phenobarb made him one
cranky, irritable child. It totally changed his personality.
Weaning him off gave me back my pleasant natured, always smiling son.
