This is an FYI that I received about a Veteran Affairs surplus auction. Its
happening in Melbourne but I am told that you can arrange to bid over the phone
or by email, though I havent checked myself. Also remember you will be
responsible for getting the stuff to wherever you are, however couriers are
quite reasonable for this sort of thing if you shop around.

Under instructions from the Australian Government Department of
Veterans' Affairs, a huge amount of home and healthcare equipment suitable for
people with a disability is being auctioned.
Time: auction commencing at 10am.
Date: Thursday 24 November 2005.
Venue: Factory 30-9, Central West Business Park, Ashley Street,
Footscary West.
Viewing will take place on Tuesday 22 November and Wednesday 23
November from 9am to 4pm.
$100 bidder registration fee, refundable if no purchase. Buyer
administration fee applies of 16.5 per cent, Goods and Services Tax inclusive.
