[tri-med] Re: Aussie Alex

I will never forget the day he fell on the stairs at school - said
NOTHING.
But we discovered 4 hours later a really swollen ankle he could no
longer
walk on because of the swelling.

Wow! That is incredible and you are right, it's something I should
teach her. She will tell me if something hurts, but it's usually
hours or days after. For instance, yesterday she told me, "mommy, my
knee is hurtin" but it has already scabbed over. And last week she
told me that "her piggy toe is hurtin" and the toenail was broken but
had been for a couple of days.

She does cry if she falls sometimes but it lasts for about 2 seconds
and then she just gets up and runs away. I should teach her too look
for boo-boo's like Alex, especially since she will be going to school
this September. Thanks!
