Sounds about..........NORMAL.............lol.

It's a very scary time when our kids make a transitional change that brings
a lot of unknown, especially when we worked so hard to get the 'known' down
pat. Or as close as it can be within our abilities/time. :-)

Such a smart move.
I always did a introductory letter to Alex's teachers (esp once he had 8,
one per subject and sometimes 2 per subject with team taught classes). It
explained basically what Alex's challenges and strengths are, his areas of
disability, what we do from home for support and that we were able and
willing to adress any concerns or areas of need. Etc.
Also about his asthma and allergies.

Probably 90% of the teachers responded very positively but there werer a few
clunkers who felt they were being told how to teach Alex and were
annoyed/offended.

Does the school offer classes associated with the running/working of a farm?
That is SO wonderful for Alex.........just think of the doors it may open!
