The motto in our house? "If it aint broken we don't fix it". Alex is the one 
that tells me that. One surgeon is offering to correct his ears properly if 
and when he gets the soundbridge implant. Alex is outright refusing. He 
wanted to know if fixing his ears would make him hear better. When we said 
no they would just look better he said well then forget it, my ears are 
different but they arent broken. Smart kid?
