Karen,
Hayden was on Prednisone for alot of chronic respiratory problems. I
know that had alot to do with his growth because he just out of nowhere
started getting big. He also man moon face because the steroids made him
chubby. LOL..it was cute but boy did he have some cheeks!!
Hayden does have micropenis. I wouldnt say he is the smallest but then
he aint the biggest either..lol. His general size is about the smaller
side of average with his height being about an inch or 2 shorter than
the smaller average. He is 28lbs 33 inces. His head circumference was
measured at the 50th percentile for a 9 month old a few months ago. He
will be 3 in October. Im not familiar with CHARGE syndrome but will look
into it now that you have mentioned it. Yes i know that just because
kids have the same trisomy doesnt mean they are going to be the same.
Haydens injury was said to be in the part of the brain that effected
motor development so i have cause to be suspicious i think. Anyway,
thanks for the info. As always you are a wealth of information that i
surely appreciate.
