Hey all, I need some opinions, A while back I mentioned trying to get Jake
dx'ed with autism. I recently met a few moms from Jakes new school and had
some more in depth talks about autism, most importantly finding out that Jake
fits to description almost perfectly (about 70 to 75%) and we could get
services for him through our insurance easier if he had that official diagnosis.
Now, here's my question....
Can a kid be dx'ed with autism (or in the autism spectrum) if he has the
symptoms of the disorder stemming from a different origin (i.e. Tri9 and KS).
I don't even know how to word it properly or where to begin, but any help or
suggestions would be appreciated!
