I really wish the paed at the maternity hospital had been as straight with
me!!!  He had suspicions but never said anything just told the midwives not
to discharge me or tell me anything.  Same as you, even though I 'knew'
nothing I cried the whole 8 days I was 'trapped' there and knew that there
wasn't something quite right but if they had of been straight with me from
the start then it wouldn't have been such a huge shock when I got to the
Children's hospital!!!  I have at times thought I'd like to get Louise's
notes from the maternity hospital and see what he's written.
