[tri-med] Re: And how is Lara doing?

Nan,

Lara hasn't been able to face the thought of going to the
hospital again since the 26th, when she was present for that
E-ticket blood pressure roller coaster ride. She asks every
day how Philina is doing, but has been doing other things.
Doug got her out of the hospital and took her to buy a pair of
boots the evening of the 26th. The 27th she asked me if she had
to go to the hospital, and I said of course not, so we took her
out to lunch and then she went sock shopping while we headed off
to the hospital. The 28th she went to the Holiday Bowl parade
with her aunt Nancy, and 3 assorted cousins. And today she went
to a movie with her friend Nicole. At least she's handling crowds
better. She seems a lot calmer. We've had one other oops around
here though. I couldn't find either of the cats a couple of days
ago to put them in the laundry room. We haven't seen Vonkerdoodle
since. But at least Lara's cat Gann is still accounted for, and
safely put up tonight with Thom's cat Blue who we're watching while
he's in Mexico. I didn't have the heart to spoil his vacation, so I
just didn't tell him Philina had a relapse the day before he was due
to leave.
