Thanks Michelle, and yes, thats actually my comfort. AK was a wonderful
woman, very tenacious too!! I can't imagine that she would have left if
she
hadn't "known" that Alex and I would be OK..... Timing wise I hadn't
been
able to give her an update of our situation (very promising things had
happened in the week before she died) but somehow I think she knew that
it
was the beginning of an upturn............. I hope so anyway.

Maybe she's in a better position to help things along for Alex and you
now. I always say that Donn's dad handpicked Hannah since I got
pregnant and he died probably within days of each other. The more things
happen the more I believe he's watching her.
My grandmother died when I was about 17 and I still cry when I remember
her. Special people affect us forever.
