Thanks Michelle, and yes, thats actually my comfort. AK was a wonderful 
woman, very tenacious too!! I can't imagine that she would have left if she 
hadn't "known" that Alex and I would be OK..... Timing wise I hadn't been 
able to give her an update of our situation (very promising things had 
happened in the week before she died) but somehow I think she knew that it 
was the beginning of an upturn............. I hope so anyway.
