Ahhhh Penny, you have to decide that one. What is your gut saying?
Might his sleep pattern settle a bit more with more time as he adjusts?
Is the extra sleep benefiting you?

A very dear old friend of mine who had fostered nearly 500 children said that
sometimes what you need is to have a child on a med to teach them good sleep
habits and then once the child was sleeping regularly, she would slowly titer
him/her off the med and sure enough, the child would continue to sleep. But
on the other hand, none of them were Triers. I know that neither Ali or Dom
would sleep without the meds. Dom did fine when he was little, but since he
has been home, his body doesn't seem to recognize tired. Took Ali off meds
once and she went for days with about four or five hours of sleep a night and
the grouchies to go with it.
