Well done Alex! They must have thought him reasonably competent or they
wouldn't have issued it.

Our eldest grand daughter came home one afternoon's driving lesson with her
Mum, and hrruummpphheed up the stairs saying "I'm sticking with Dad for
driving lessons from now on". I have sympathies on the Mum's side however,
as I once had to pull on the handbrake, when we were heading for the fence,
after my saying, with increasing crescendo, slow, slow SLOW DOWN SLOW DOWN
ahhhhh, that's with her mother I mean, not grand daughter, so the saying
what goes around comes around is so true.

Well that will happen with the regular kids also.

You'll get used to it. It's like when we first looked after our Triers, and
feared they would die. After a while, you just can't continue to function
effectively if you retain that level of fear, and you take a few steps back
and DETACH.

So true!
But I feel a touch of pride from the other side of the globe, that a trier
has his drivers licence.
