[tri-med] Re: AMNIO & CVS

My wife just had one done , Chorionic Villi Sampling (CVS), about 3 weeks ago. 
She was 12-weeks pregnant. The test results came back last week and we were 
told that everything is fine no genetic or chromosomal abnormalities thank God. 
We were also told that we should expect a baby girl. To learn more about CVS I

hi everyone,

i had an amnio when i was pregnant with Jason that showed a chromosomal  
marker, and then further research showed it was from the p arm of the 17th  
chromosome. I know the amnio really finds everything. does anyone know 
anything  
about CVS and what it can find. is it as thorough as an amnio?? it is done  
between the 10th-12th week as opposed to the 16th week amnio.
