i've  had two postive with asheigh was told she was very high for down's and 
she is fine. so when i had rj it to came back postive to and he is fine does 
have ADD like aaron but that runs in the famliy. taylor's came back 
negative, and was told about his triosmy 8, 6 weeks later after he was born, 
we did know about the reflex of the kidneys  which where told it should go a 
way after birth but did not. gina son taylor

Dear Therese,
Like any test the AFP can return a false negative as well as a false
positive.  The only definitive prenatal tests are amniocentesis and CVS
because they test fetal cells.

Don't worry about the world coming to an end tomorrow it's already tomorrow
