[tri-med] A Little Trisomy Humour...

Well, Bec has her sense of humour back...

After a week in hospitals she has accumulated a pile of nice new magazines,
which by the way she showed little interest in. Last night I put them out
for the night nurse and as she said, oh how nice! Bec piped up and said, oh
you can take them home there's no cute men in them. I guess Women's World,
Chatelaine and Kids Crafts are just not her cup of tea anymore.

and...

We had taken her CPAP and heated humidifier with us to the hospital
(surgeons request) and I guess the dial on the humidifier got bumped-up
somehow in all of the packing and unpacking. Well anything above a 2 setting
causes significant condensation in the hose. I admit I didn't check the
setting once we got home but about 1 in the morning I hear my little
gardener say, mom, its watering me!

and...

Bec has a stuffed monkey named Marcel who is a comfort to her especially
when she is really frightened. Bec brought him along with her this trip to
the hospital but she said, put him under the covers...so they wont know I
got a pet.....
