I seriously checked it out for Alex approx. 3 yrs ago. The mom of a boy with
severe learning disabilities (brain tumor removal as a toddler left him very
impaired and very emotionally changed) was using them and told me about
Sylvan a number of times. You're right, they're very expensive but she swore
by them and had seen great increases in academics like they promised.

We decided to stay with our tutor (who has since moved to Ohio and we still
greatly miss).
