Ah Penny Penny Penny
You will be sitting on a donut for awhile I am sure. You are getting
yourself into such a tizzy. It will be so much better afterwards, think
that way. Also you will gladly take the pain meds the doc gives you, and
yes you will be cath'd but you won't care cause getting up to go to the
potty will not be an option at first anyway. The cath is not that bad - I
had both times with back and hip surgery. I get sick from morphine so they
gave me something synthetic which was better and I didn't get nauseous. You
will be just fine - you have to have confidence in your doctor. If you work
yourself up, your BP will be higher and they won't operate. You don't want
to have to postpone all this do you? That doc does that surgery all the
time. I know you get paranoid but you gotta chill, girlfriend, or you will
work yourself into such a stupor weeks before surgery that you won't be able
to have it. Enuff said. Guess I am such a pro at surgeries that your kind
is not seen as life threatening and you should think accordingly. It will
be wonderful afterward! Think that way!
Love ya, Charleen
