[tri-family] Louise, Midwifery and other stuff

Hi all,
Been AWOL for a while sorry.

Thanks to all who sent special messages for Louise's birthday.  A couple of
days before her birthday Jen asked if we could have a cake so we got a
lovely birthday cake we didn't sing Happy Birthday but sat around munching
on cake and ice-cream and talking about Louise it was very nice and the
first time we have actually 'celebrated' her birthday it was great therapy
for me I still really miss her heaps.

I have 2 whole days to go before I'm a certified Midwife.  I have to 'do'
two more births so hopefully that will happen today.  I have been spending
some time in the Prenatal diagnosis clinic was actually setting up for
Amnios and CVS on Louise's birthday!!!  it was a tad close to the bone and I
nearly lost it once.  April I can sympathise with you on the small baby
thing Louise was 5lb 3 oz and I attended a preemie birth 24 weeks and the
baby was 840 grams!!!!  it fit in ONE Hand!!!! still in the NICU at the
moment but doing well.

I can't believe I'm nearly finished my training.

I have lost 17 kilos now and hoping for more didn't gain over Christmas but
didn't lose either.  I was interested in the whole vegetarian thread because
I am now mostly eating meat with veges and salads LOL
