[tri-family] Re: Fw: recipe book

When I was in college, we would use the Ramen noodles & flavor packets as
the base for casseroles- eg: Cook the noodles, drain completely, add the
flavor mix and then add cheese, veggies, bits of meat or chicken, whatever
we had handy. The beef flavor was particularly good with cheddar cheese
melted on top and the chicken flavor with one cut up chicken breast and some
peas and carrots would feed at least two people. NOT the best meal you ever
had, but we were full.

OK - this is an easy "translation". Here they are called 2 minute noodles.
Very cheap (you can get them for 50c a packet or less) and on poverty weeks
become a staple food item :-))
I dont have any "recipes" for them though - pass them on!!!
