Hi there...just wanted to give you an update on a few things happening.
Sunday June 24th is going to be JCI Brantford's BIG BIKE Ride for Heart and
Stroke.
WE NEED TEAM MEMBERS!!! You don't need to be in great physical shape to
contribute either. 29 of us pedal on a huge bike for a short jaunt. The whole
thing
will take only an hour of your day (including setup, chatting etc!). It's
happening at
12:30 pm at Montana's on Lynden Road. I HAVE PLEDGE SHEETS. They are
asking that each member get a minimum of $50 in pledges. That's not hard to do,
so please help out! If you can't make it that day, please consider sponsoring
me.
If I get the most pledges, I'll get the EASY CHAIR and everyone else has to
peddle my ass around. This would be priceless.

JCI Brantford is also selling MILK FOR A YEAR tickets. Also known (in some
countries) as BEER FOR A YEAR, if you win you can get a case of 'milk' every
week for a year or take the cash equivalent (around $1500). We sell at most
around 400 tickets so your chances of winning are good and the tickets are only
$10. Let me know how many you want! :) There are other prizes, too.

Last night we picked the theme for this year's JCI Brantford Santa Claus Parade.
"Christmas Around the World" it is. If you know anyone that
is interested in sponsoring the parade, helping out or putting a float entry
in just let me know. Parade is November 24, 2007

The Personal Computer Museum will be open again on June 9 from 10am to 4pm
(13 Alma Street in Brantford). We are still accepting equipment donations so
if you didn't get your computer to us last month, you can bring it out this
month. We are still going through all the stuff, but over 200 pieces of
electronic equipment was donated for our first event! There are at least 50
monitors. Thanks to everyone that helped.
The article that was on ITWorldCanada has made the print edition of
Network World Canada. This has helped out with the page loads on the
website. In the month of May, there were approximately 13,000 page loads
on the site - an absolute record! There are new features on the site
too so check it out for yourself at www.pcmuseum.ca
================================
Hope you are well! Take care,
Syd
