I've got a 1987 Mac SE that's running System 3.3 on it that I could demo - assuming I can make it to the meeting (I believe I can).
It would be interesting to compare the Mac GUI to GEOS - in particular GEOS128 which would run hi-res on a C128. It would also be interesting to compare the write and paint applications of that era. The Commodore computers were right on the doorstep for GUI development - along with the Apple IIgs, and of course Microsoft Windows (still way behind in 1987!).
Just a thought! But then again, a Mac might not be retro enough for this group! :)

Hi all, Just to mix things up a bit: Would there be interest in an "Other 70s/80s Computers" night at the March TPUG meeting? (March 19th) I've got some Tandy gear that's been sadly neglected, and I know many others at TPUG have other retrocomputing interests but no venue in which to showcase them. I for one would be seeing some of your other systems. To keep it somewhat on topic, we could always compare/contrast them with Commodore machines from the same era. Comments, discussion?
