-3- The new website (what's new and what's the same)

__________HELLO AGAIN __________/

Much has happened since the last newsletter:

(1) A virus was sent thouh the Yahoo system, causing about 10 uers to leave.
It had NOTHING to do with us, but because one of the administrative addresses
was in the Yahoo system, all of you got bombarded with a few messages
pupporting to come from this list. Precautions have been taken to guard
against this sort of thing, but nothing is foolpoof. This newsletter is set so
that only I can send messages to it. Anti-virus software is also being used now
as well, though again--it wouldnot have stopped the Yahoo virus, which did not
originate with us.

(2) I was in the hospital for an angioplasty--removing cholesterol from the
cornonary arteries. Theorectically I am much younger now than a few weeks ago.
This is another reason for the delay in getting back up to speed.

(3) Our provider--Cyberwings--went down and took us with them. We were forced
to find another provider, this time located in Canada (though we are in Japan).

__________NEWS AND LINKS__________/

Life goes on even if we have been away, so there are many this time. Just a
brief listing, ok?

                             BELIEVE IT OR NOT...
1) Which American President expanded the death penalty, outlawed gay marriages,
kicked 10 million people off of social welfare support, supported "3 strikes"
legislation that put thousands of non violent criminal offenders behind bars
for years, and refused to sign the International Land Mines Ban Treaty?

(2) Besides Somalia, the U.S. is the only country that refuses to United
nations Convention of the Rights of the Child. Why?
