Dear TokyoProgressive reader
(Note: If you do not wish to receive any more messages from
TokyoProgressive, please see the bottom of this message.)
RELAUNCH OF THE WEB SITE
TokyoProgressive is moving to a new, progressive web host, Electric
Embers. Until now we have been hosted by a commercial web host, using
commercial software, and these have been absolutely fine. However, by
switching to a non profit workers collective, we will be helping to
support people with similar goals. The basic website will not change,
except that it should be better organized and easier to navigate. And
there may be some new or revived features, such as bi-directional
communication and reader-generated articles.
The switch will be done in stages, with discussion and email lists
starting soon and the web site itself relaunched in a few months. As
always, TokyoProgressive will continue to assist like minded groups
and individuals to the extent that we are able. Where we cannot, we
hope you will use Electric Embers and other like minded workers
collectives.?

TokyoProgressive has been hosted on freelists.org for many years. In 2006
we added a
substantial number of subscribers after we helped publicize an anti-war
petition addressed to
President Bush by the Iraq Hope Network. To balance costs, some subscribers
receive their mail from
this list and some from our list hosted on Intellicontact.
Contact paul@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx if you have any questions or any difficulty
subscribing or
unsubscribing.
