Good point. Will use moth-er. I figured mother was better than leper. You can do this by entering the number of each species you see during a trip, or you can do this by entering just an X for each species; either way, the resulting data are always accessible to you personally, and there may eventually be ways in which the data will be made publicly accessible in lists, maps, etc. As far as I know, there is no equivalent data-entry program for moth data, an oversight that needs to be corrected somehow if I am correct about the absence of such a program. If you know of such, please share with the TN-Moths listserv subscribers, so that these important data can be archived for the use of future generations of moth-ers. [May I recommend that we use moth-er instead of mother when using the term in messages to TN-Moths?] Hoping to hear from someone in the know about a moth archiving database. Good lepping, Steve Stedman Cookeville (Putnam County)
