Hemaris diffinis is Hodges #7855, (Snowberry Clearwing)
The other one you may need is 7853 Hemaris thysbe (Hummingbird Clearwing).
Thanks for the report. It's okay not to have this number; it's simply easier
for Doug if it's a species new to our list.

My first sighting of Hemaris diffinis took place this morning in my yard in
Putnam Co., TN; sorry but I do not know Hodges #; if anyone can provide it,
I'll try to commit it to memory. Thanks.
