[TN-Butterflies] Re: numbering the streaks on the tulip

Steve is right.  Unlike some lists which are narrowly focused and critical of 
those who digress, this one has room for all butterfly connoisuers.  IMO, this 
should include scientific research, counting and tracking (which is scientific 
and predictive), photography, professional and lay observations, and ID 
assistance.  In my experience, this generates interest; and new-comers to the 
field feel their questions are taken seriously.

As T. S. Eliot  put it:

 ... And every phrase
And sentence that is right (where every word is at home,
Taking its place to support the others,
The word neither diffident nor ostentatious,
An easy commerce of the old and the new,
The common word exact without vulgarity,
The formal word precise but not pedantic,
The complete consort dancing together)...

So, together let's dance with the butterflies!
