There's nothing like some fresh Great Blue Heron poop to get the boys together
for a party! At the peak of the party, there were 10 different species of
butterflies.

The full list of party attendees:
Eastern Tailed-blue
Gray Hairstreak
Little Yellow
Cloudless Sulphur
Eastern Comma
Eastern Tiger Swallowtail
Silver-spotted Skipper
Dun Skipper
Pearl Crescent
Common Buckeye
and one fly.
Due to the lack of rain, my ponds are low and the exposed mud provides a rich
growing area for some small plants. There were a few Dainty Sulphurs, all
nectaring on this plant.
