Hello All, I just wanted to report at the fall TOS meeting, on this mornings Arrow Lake field trip, that a immature surf scoter was observed. This was a life bird for several poeple. Also several ruddy ducks, mallards,and hooded mergansers were observed. Dr George Mayfield also observed a field with 200 horned larks. Hope all from the meeting had a safe trip home and enjoed their stay here in Columbia. We sure enjoyed all of you! Good birding to all, Jennifer Cardenas Columbia TN =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to sign your messages with first and last name, city (town) and state abbreviation. ----------------------------------------------------- To post to this mailing list, simply send email to: tn-bird@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ----------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send email to: tn-bird-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Topographical Maps located at http://topozone.com/find.asp * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the Tennessee Ornithological Society web site at http://www.tnbirds.org * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * TN-Bird Net Owner: Wallace Coffey, Bristol, TN jwcoffey@xxxxxxxxxx (423) 764-3958 =========================================================
