Results for 11 of this year's 29 Tennessee CBCs have already been entered into the bi-continental database and are available for viewing by anyone with internet access. To access these data, go to the CBC website-- http://www.audubon.org/bird/cbc/ --and click on This Year's Results in the lefthand margin; then select Tennessee in the window that next appears in the upper left; then select the CBC you wish to view in the righthand side of the next page and click on Make a Table. This will result in a page of current results for that CBC, but it also allows you some other data-viewing options: 1. You may click on the name of any species listed for a CBC and get a list of all CBCs sites this year that recorded that species and the number of individuals recorded there. 2. If you perform the action in item 1, you may then click on the name of any CBC site in the list and a complete list of this year's results for that site will be provided. 3. Along with the list of species seen at any of the CBC sites, you can also access all the data for all previous years that a CBC has been conducted at that site; use the window in the upper left part of that page to select a previous year and get the data for that year. Have fun surfing the CBC website for data from this year's CBC, Steve Stedman Editor, Tennessee CBCs American Birds =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to SIGN YOUR MESSAGE with first and last name, CITY (TOWN) and state abbreviation.
