[tn-bird] results of fall bird count in putnam co.

The third annual Fall Bird Count in Putnam County was held
last Saturday, September 21, 2002.  Nine observers (down
slightly from each of the previous two years) noted 108
species (up slightly from each of the previous two years)
and 6898 individuals (also up from each of the previous
two years).  Highlights included Gadwall by two parties,
Barn Owl, high counts for Eastern Screech-Owl and Great
Horned Owl, 145 Common Nighthawks, a latish Acadian
Flycatcher, 5 Brown-headed Nuthatches, 22 species of
warblers, and an earlyish Lincoln's Sparrow.
