[tn-bird] plain vanilla great blue heron in putnam co.

An immature of the white form of Great Blue Heron was
present yesterday afternoon at the Happy Hollow Boat
Ramp on the Caney Fork River just inside Putnam County 
near the line with DeKalb County.  This site is about
a mile from exit 268 on I-40.  Directions to the site

This bird was originally found a week ago during the
Putnam County Fall Bird Count, but the observer called
it a Great Egret, a natural enough identification,
given the extremely foggy conditions that prevailed
at the time of the sighting and the distance to the
bird. The species total for the Fall Bird Count had
to be revised downward as a result of the
re-identification of the bird.
