Hi folks, As Michael Roedel requested, I sent him a note about my personal preferences for the new checklists. I hope many of you do, also. Here is one thing I hope some of you think about... As birders, we have a lot to lose in the coming years if something isn't done to protect natural resources. I, for one, would be happy to pay a small amount for checklists, if I knew they were environmentally responsible. Say a dime each, or somesuch. I hope that TWRA finds a way to use 100% post-consumer recycled materials, biodegradeable inks, and if the cards are white, non-bleached paper. I would think that if they hear similar comments from birders, they would take them in consideration - especially if some of us were willing to chip in to defray the costs.
