[TN-Bird] Re: hunmingbird onslaught

Carol gave a plausible explanation but it doesn't seem to fit our situation.
All these new arrivals appear to be mature - in fact, we've not seen one
immature male in the bunch and several of the females still appear to have
unlaid eggs. And another mystery is why there are so few hummingbirds this
year. In our five years at this location we've never had less than 100
hummers by June and this year we only have about one-third of that number.
Regardless of numbers, we are sure enjoying these beautiful little
creatures.
